Job Description:-
Headquartered in Riyadh and with additional offices in Jeddah and Bahrain, our client is the Investment Banking arm of one of the most prominent of Saudi Banks and the biggest bank in terms of capital in the Arab world. Providing premier products and services through their Brokerage Services, Investment Services, Investment Banking and Asset Management divisions, they are now seeking an experienced and qualified Business Systems Support Officer.
Based in Bahrain and reporting to the Strategic Program Manager, the Business Systems Support officer (BSS) will be responsible for the systems support and development of assigned systems to facilitate delivery of enhancements and on-going business requirements in a timely manner. The BSS is responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements and will propose solutions; and where possible will develop the solution or liaise with vendors. You will develop efficient workflows and processes, the documentation of system enhancements and the on-going controls to ensure solutions are current and updated as system upgrades become available.
The BSS will build relationships with the Business, IT, Vendors and 3rd parties and will liaise with front and back office in respect to on-going functional and operational system requirements.
The successful candidate will be an IT Professional with 5+ years in-depth experience as a ‘subject matter expert’ within Financial Services, specifically Investment Banking.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Middle East, Portia, Investment Operations, Domain Knowledge, Support for Asset Management Front Office Experience are all mandatory.
- A tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline (engineering, computer science, project management)
- Portia Application Experience, with Investment Operations / Domain knowledge
- Supported an AM Front office environment
- Broad understanding of relational database design.
- Strong understanding of web software development, including usability and information architecture.
- Demonstrable record in designing and recommending solutions that deliver business goals.
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
