Job Description:-
Our client is one of the major Banking Organisations in the Middle East. Headquartered in Jeddah, they are the largest bank in terms of capital in the Arab world and are pioneers in Islamic Banking; providing a wide range of innovative Islamic alternatives for various traditional services and products. The Banks Risk Management Division is now seeking to appoint several, first class Senior Credit Officers to support the growth of their corporate and investment banking businesses both locally and internationally.
You will work closely with Business and Risk Managers to provide independent review and approval of credit extensions, and will provide coaching and training to Business and Risk staff. You will ensure that Risk Management policies and procedures are current, relevant and properly adhered to.
Assisting with participating in the formulation and execution business strategies, target market and risk acceptance criteria; while building the Banks due diligence and problem recognition capabilities.
To succeed in this role you will:
- Have 5 -10 years experience as a Senior Credit officer in a large, international bank
- Possess strong communication and negotiation skills
- Have strong command of English, both written and spoken – Arabic a bonus
- Have prior exposure to Emerging Markets
