Job Description:-
A top Middle East investment Bank has received approval from Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) to commence operations in the Kingdom.
The Client will provide the Saudi market with an integrated and comprehensive range of Islamic investment products and services, with the full support and depth by the established Islamic investment bank headquartered in Bahrain.
The Client has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) based in Saudi Arabia to lead and grow the business in the Saudi Market.
Duties:
In addition the role will oversee the day-to-day business lines and operations (Back Office and Middle Office) and ensure the agreed plan and directions of the subsidiary achieve the growth and revenue targets in a cost effective manner in order to maximize profitability.
The ultimate objective is to provide effective management of the business lines to facilitate the delivery of the overall objectives and targets as set by the Board and as such your responsibilities will include;

Providing leadership to the business lines to Implement the vision, mission, and strategic plans in order to maximize shareholder return

Review business plans and overall financial budget for approval and execution;

Develop, manage and execute the operational plans based on strategic plans set and agreed with the Board.

Agree Company-wide performance objectives and monitor progress of corporate strategy, financial and operational goals and report performance;

Ensure company policies support the business plan and that operations are carried out in compliance with CMA rules and regulations;

Drive the plans and direction of the subsidiary to achieve the growth and revenue targets in a cost effective manner in order to maximize profitability.

Ensure the Compliance policies and monitoring programs are effective and adhere to the Saudi and CMA laws and regulations, including anti-money laundry / terrorism financing

Ensure all heads of business lines are aware of all governance policies and adhere to them;

Manage resource allocation to support the business;

Provide leadership in creating an effective work environment to attract, retain and motivate a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role It is essential you have substantial, i.e. fifteen to twenty years’ relevant experience with reputable investment banking institutions in business focused roles.
Ten of these should have been spent at senior business management level within the GCC - ideally in KSA - and/or MENA market experience.
A business related university degree and either a post graduation (MBA) in a business discipline or a professional qualification are considered prerequisites.
