Job Description:-

A top Middle East investment Bank has received approval from Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) to commence operations in the Kingdom.

The Client will provide the Saudi market with an integrated and comprehensive range of Islamic investment products and services, with the full support and depth by the established Islamic investment bank headquartered in Bahrain.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Real Estate to be an executive member of the Asset Management and Real Estate team based in Riyadh working closely with the MD Head of Asset Management and Real Estate in Bahrain and the CEO in Riyadh.

The Asset Management Real Estate business targets investment opportunities in the residential and commercial real estate segments, both development and stabilized income-producing assets.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the investment cycle from sourcing to exit, in line with our asset management and real estate strategy and will also oversee and be involved in all structuring activities. The role also entails working closely with MD Head of the group and the CEO to develop, continuously refine, and execute the overall strategy and detailed business plan for the division.

Duties:

• This is a hands-on role in an exciting new environment and your responsibilities will also include;
  Working closely with the CEO and Global Head of Asset Management and Real Estate to formulate the strategy and a detailed business plan for the division in line with the overall strategy of the Bank
  

• Overseeing all real estate investment activities with MD - AM, UIB, Bahrain & CEO, KSA
  

• Serve as a member of the Investment Committee
  

• Identifying target investment opportunities and conducting screening and making investment recommendations
  

• Coordinate the preparation of detailed investment proposals and conducting presentations to the Bank’s Investment Committee
  

• Conducting proprietary due diligence and managing 3rd party due diligence consultants
  

• Structuring and execution of investments, leading negotiations with vendors, developers, land owners, financial partners, lending banks, and other parties
  

• Guiding the proposed investments through the Bank’s Investment Committee process
  

• Developing relationships with deal sourcing channels, including developers and intermediaries
  

• Take charge of the post investment management monitoring and guiding existing investments up to the point of full exit
  

• Overseeing the preparation of interim post investment updates and take necessary action to ensure satisfactory performance
  

• Setting up the corporate infrastructure and hiring the management teams of project-specific or platform-specific development companies to execute the investments
  

• Developing an understanding of market trends, dynamics and competitive landscape
  

• Networking with other practitioners & industry players
  

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role it is essential you have;

• A minimum of 10 years of direct experience with a successful track record in Real Estate investment product management
  

• Strong business management and marketing skills
  

• A marketing background inc: Product management, promotion, distribution, pricing & research
  

• Saudi/Middle Eastern real estate experience and a network of contacts
  

• Fluency in Arabic and in English

• The successful candidate will have sound educational and professional qualifications (MBA, CFA, or investment certification) with strong quantitative and financial modeling skills and a minimum of 10 years of experience gained in senior roles in real estate or related field such as ;
  

• Real estate consultancy work - focused on financial analysis and assessing projects’ feasibility
  

• Work in a financial institution providing financial advisory and/or debt and equity financing solutions to real estate companies or investors or
  

• Experience gained in an investment banking division of a financial institution or in a corporate finance boutique firm.
