Job Description:-

In November 2008, the client was awarded a license by Saudi Arabia’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to establish operations in the Kingdom, subject to the receipt of a commencement letter from the CMA. We are currently fulfilling the regulatory and operational requirements to commence operation.

The client is looking to appoint a Senior Director, Capital Markets, based in Riyadh, to work closely with the Deputy CEO and MD&CEO in Saudi, to drive and support the implementation and execution of their capital market activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities include;

Duties:

• Identifying prospective clients in KSA
  

• Participating in and supporting market development activities, visits & calls to existing clients and or prospects
  

• Research, document and execute preliminary reviews and analysis; market trends, sector, company etc.
  

• Increase activities in;
  Debt/Equity raising through Sukuk or Syndicated Facility
  Refinancing and capital structuring
  Appraisals & Feasibility studies
  Financial Valuations
  Ratings Advisory for the issuers and issues
  capital markets structured products
  

• Service and liaise with the Capital Markets Team in Bahrain to supporting existing clients and assist in winning and executing new mandates
  

• Support networking activities with other financial institutions to explore alliances or joint ventures
  

• winning mandates and or syndicating transactions from a debt /equity raising or Sukuk perspective
  

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, it is essential to have;

• 5+ years Capital Markets experience in a major financial institution, consulting firm or transaction teams of a “big 4”
  

• successful track record in winning mandates, closing & executing transactions
  

• relevant educational and Professional qualifications (CA/CPA, MBA, CFA, etc.)
  

• Middle Eastern experience ideally with networks in KSA
  

• strong marketing skills
  

• strong analytical skills
  

• strong communication & interpersonal skills
  

• fluency in Arabic and in English
