Job Description:-

Our Client is a leading investment bank in Bahrain. They are looking for someone to be their Head of Risk Management and Compliance and MLRO for the company and its subsidiaries, Operational Risk monitoring.

Main Responsibilities:

Capital Management, including Pillar 1 CAR monitoring, Pillar 2 ICAAP framework and Pillar 3 disclosures
Market Risk Management for Investments & Treasury and Asset Management Departments
Credit Risk Management for Investments & Treasury, Asset Management and Brokerage Departments
Operational Risk Management for all departments and its subsidiaries
New products and activities controls
SWIFT Security Officer
Core Banking System Project Implementation (Teminos T24)as team member, inputs for RMD requirements
Designated compliance officer and MLRO for the company and its subsidiary
Compliance Risk Management for CBB rulebooks and BSE rules at all times
Internal Policy compliance supervision
New products and activities compliance control

The successful candidate will most likely have the following:

Language skills:	Excellent communication skills in English, fluency in Arabic will be an advantage
Qualification:	Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA etc., and MBA specializing in Risk Management functionalities can also be considered. PRM, FRM, CFA will be an added advantage
Computer skills:	MS Office, MS Access and other utilities
No. of years experience:	Minimum of five years relevant experience At least two years as a department head or substantial control of the risk management department. Regional experience is essential, in Bahrain preferred Hands on experience of regulatory compliance as compliance officer and sound personal relationship with CBB (where employed within Bahrain)
