Job Description:-

The Specification Writer / Technical Author will be required to develop standards, including assembling background and context data, preparing and obtaining approval of new and revised standards in order to ensure cost efficient delivery of its obligations under the contract.

The Author will be required to coordinate with delivery teams and other project teams on the contract, prepare roll-out briefing notes, research issues and provide objective analysis and identify risks to all parties and their mitigation.

The role of Technical Author would suit an individual with a good comprehension of technical and contractual documents, up to date technical knowledge and excellent technical drafting skills. Previous work experience in drafting M&E Specifications is essential and experience in the Engineering Consultancy industry would be desirable.
